Supported Windows and Server Versions

WholesaleBackup Online Backup Software Windows Client deploys on the following platforms, with native 64-bit and 32-bit support:

Microsoft Windows 7
Microsoft Server 2008
Microsoft Windows Vista
Microsoft Server 2003
Microsoft Windows XP

In each case, Microsoft's .NET 2.0 redistributable is required, and is already installed on most machines that have been kept up-to-date using Microsoft Windows Update. The download can be found here:

Microsoft SQL-Server Versions

Wholesale Backup can dump and backup databases running on Microsoft SQL Server platforms:

Microsoft SQL-Server 2008
Microsoft SQL-Server 2005
Microsoft SQL-Server 2000 (via included expansion scripts)

SQL-Server Browser and Agent Services must be running during the backup, and if they are not running by default, can be turned on and off for the backup using the built-in "before" and "after" commands.

Microsoft Exchange Versions

WholesaleBackup uses Microsoft's own tools for backing up Exchange, and so supports all versions of Microsoft Exchange.
